Projects in Nicaragua and scholarships Aaltokoski has given to Nicaraguan dancers

2008–09 Coordinator of Finland-Nicaragua artistic and pedagogical project. In the project five Nicaraguan dancers attended a three-week-long study trip to Finland. (Gloria Bacon, William Herrera, Ally Reyes, Sandra Gomez, Lighia Luna)

Alpo Aaltokoski Company has supported the Nicaraguan dance by granting scholarships to talented Nicaraguan dance students and by financing their study trips to Finland:
