Pro Finlandia Medal is an honor granted for Finnish artists since 1945 by Order of the Lion of Finland. In 2013 the Medal was assigned to fourteen artists from various fields of art by President of Finland himself. Among the designated was dancer–choreographer Alpo Aaltokoski.
Aaltokoski received his Medal on April 4th 2014 in Alexander Theatre, Helsinki. The artist was happily accompanied by many of his co-workers and colleagues in the event.
