Finnish Dance house Tanssin talo opened its doors for the first time on February 2, 2022 at the opening gala. The gala, which was held without a live audience, was broadcast live on Yle Teema and Areena.
Alpo Aaltokoski, who has been called the father of the idea for the Tanssin talo, danced at the gala in the Ketju. The culmination of the gala is a greeting to the Tanssin talo by nine dancer-choreographers under the direction of Reija Wäre.
Alpo Aaltokoski Company’s first production at the Dance House will take place in the autumn of 2022.
